I originally bought this monitor to consume as an external monitor for a MacBook Pro, but I am now every day as HDTV. As a computer monitor, it is not as clear as the MacBook LCD, but it is not surprising given the high quality of the Apple LCD. Probably the only way to improve the quality of the LCD to adjust to buy a MacBook to Apple Cinema Display ($$$).
As a computer monitor, I was) very happy (with a DVI connector.
As a bonus, thisMonitor includes an HDTV tuner, so I plugged in the ear of a few old hands and began to watch OTA HDTV. Wow!
The speakers are a bit weak, so sometimes I plug in my speakers to external computer to the headphone jack on the TV.
Because I enjoyed the HDTV so I've finally connected is DirecTV HD DVR (HR22) for this TV, and now he can get all my channels and not just OTA. The DVR is connected via HDMI, and the quality is excellent.
This TV remote control is also pleasant andSimple and easy to use.
Understanding the on-screen menus are clear and simple.
Actually, I have only 2 complaints about this monitor: (1) speakers are small (but expect a monitor, small), and (2), attracts dust like crazy!
I recommend this monitor is like a computer monitor or an HDTV – or both!
Update: It's about 3 months since my initial review, except that a monitoring after confirmation that I am always very impressedwith the monitor, and friends and family have also noticed that the sharpness (for HDTV display is). Even if you have a problem with the speakers low, monitor, simply plug in your speakers to the computer. When I watch TV, I prefer my speakers on my MacBook Pro and put it into the monitor. Late at night, then the TV speakers are fine.

Its perfect What can I say … But the status of the SRS does not know how it works, if I have a speaker system that it uses or not it does not on its own does it mean when I have to press the button cuz remote "Not available", so yah, check that out b4 u order … but its 1080p and television to his fears … but if you even deeper than it gets dark early, which sucks, because this function does not help that I can no longer be what is now, but in all of its great

Acquired as a small TV monitor capability. The video is great, but the sound quality of speakers with the Council is less than expected, even for small LCD screens. Good value.
